Provides added ring detection for Plantronics AWH55 & Plantronics "CS" Wireless Headsets models to Avaya 1608, 1616, 2410, 4630, 5410, 6416D+M, 6426D+M, 9620, 9630, 9640, 9650, 9670 model phones.
The external ring detector cable should be used with if your telephone's speaker is not located beneath the hand receiver. While you shouldn't need this cable if your phone's speaker is located beneath the hand receiver, you may want to use it if your headset does not notify you when the phone rings.
