Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) is an authentication method that strengthens access security by requiring 2 or more ways to verify user identity for gaining access to the PBX.
MFA works by requiring additional verification information (authentication factors) in addition to the username and password. These MFA factors are one-time passwords (OTP), which consist of 4-8 digit codes that the user receives via email, SMS or a mobile app. A new OTP code is generated each time an authentication request is submitted.
FreePBX Multi-Factor Login 1 Admin Package. Each Admin Package comes with 1 MFA Administrator login and unlimited UCP User logins, good for 12 months. You can buy as many packages per PBX as you need. Each additional package gives you 1 additional Adminstrator MFA login who can use Multi-Factor Login features until the yearly global expiration is exceeded.
